Arcana 2 Configuration: MENU > SCALER, press the click wheel to select from the following options:

Simultaneous dual 4K FRL VRR output for 4K120 (or 8K60) VRR TVs or displays.

Downscales a 4K VRR input signal to 2K VRR for output to a 2K TV or a sync box (e.g., Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box).

Converts FRL to TMDS for output to HDMI 2.0 (18Gbps) TVs or displays that do not support FRL.

Sets to Audio-Only output for AVRs/amplifiers, supporting both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

.bin file into the root directory.Yes! It accepts inputs from any HDMI media player, supporting up to Atmos/TrueHD, and outputs to the Sonos Arc or any eARC-compatible sound system. It can also be used with AVRs/amplifiers, provided they support eARC to decode Dolby Atmos.
Arcana 2 supports the HDMI 2.1 specification, delivering a maximum bandwidth of 40Gbps and supporting resolutions and refresh rates up to 8K@60Hz.
Yes! It features ultra-low latency of less than 1ms, which is virtually imperceptible and ideal for gaming or real-time video processing.
If the DV Primaries are set to DCI-P3 and the LLDV signal is sent to a display device that lacks a DCI-P3 color profile, the colors will appear oversaturated, causing noticeable reddish skin tones on faces. The solution is to output BT2020 instead of DCI-P3.
Arcana 2 Configuration: Go to MENU > LLDV -> HDR > Primaries, select BT2020, and press the click wheel to confirm.
Since the Philips Hue Sync Box cannot process 4K120 signals (it supports up to 4K60 max), it may fail to display a picture when your source device is outputting 4K120.
Once applied, your main display (4K120 VRR TV) will still receive the full 4K120 signal, while the sync box can properly synchronize the lighting.
Please verify that you have connected to the eARC output port on your audio system/receiver, rather than an input port. Because Arcana 2's eARC OUT port acts as an Audio Return Channel, the actual connection topology must be: Arcana 2 eARC OUT → Audio System eARC OUT.
If your AVR/amplifier is connected to the HDMI COPY port, this setting will not affect its audio reception.
The options under MENU > AUDIO > TV eARC route: apply exclusively to the device connected to the eARC OUT port. If an AVR is hooked up to HDMI COPY, it will continue to receive audio regardless of the eARC setting.
Solution: Connect your audio equipment to the eARC OUT port instead (and ensure your audio system natively supports eARC signals).
Arcana 2 Configuration: Go to MENU > SCALER, where you can select from the following options: 4K60 444 8b LLDV / HDR / SDR, 4K60 420 10b LLDV / HDR / SDR, 4K60 420 8b LLDV / HDR / SDR, 4K30 422 12b LLDV / HDR / SDR, 1080p 12b HDR / SDR, or 1080p 8b SDR.
Yes! With the latest firmware version installed, navigate to Arcana 2 Settings > MENU > SCALER > UPSCALE to properly adapt the output to your display.
Please try downloading and flashing the latest Arcana 2 firmware version (FW 0.25), and update your Go232 App to the latest version via the App Store or Google Play Store.
