Basic Settings

Accessing the Settings Page
  1. Connect the Ethernet cable to the DIVA and plug in the power cord. Once the OLED screen lights up, locate the IP address in the top-right corner.
  1. Ensure your computer or smartphone is connected to the same network as the DIVA.
  1. Open a web browser and enter this IP address into the address bar to access the web settings page (Web GUI).

How to configure the projector to play Dolby Vision?
  1. Go to the EDID settings page > check CUSTOM > select 5 - Custom Default [SONY A1 LLDV DCI-P3] from the INPUT drop-down menu.
  1. Go to the HDR/AVI settings page > under HDR METADATA GENERATOR > check Use custom HDR for TX0 and TX1 when input is LLDV.
  1. Go to the DV settings page > check CAPTURED INPUT DOLBY VISION METADATA [from source]. If non-zero numbers are displayed inside the box, the configuration is successful, and Dolby Vision is currently playing.

HDR to SDR Function Settings
  1. Connect the 1080p SDR projector to the TX1 port of the DIVA.
  1. Go to the TOOLS settings page > under HDR to SDR CONVERSION: [FOR TX1] > PROFILE: > select 7 - STM Profile 7 from the drop-down menu.

Note: Most displays will achieve optimal results by selecting 7 - STM Profile 7. However, some displays may yield better color performance using slightly different configurations.
Advanced Settings

How to Customize DV to HDR Parameter Settings
  1. Go to the EDID settings page > check AUTOMIX > under VIDEO FLAGS check TX0; under AUDIO FLAGS check AUDIO OUT; under HDR FLAGS check HDR/HDR10+ and HLG; under DV FLAGS check CUSTOM DV STRING.
  1. Go to the HDR/AVI settings page > under HDR METADATA GENERATOR > check Use custom HDR for TX0 and TX1 when input is LLDV.
  1. Go to the DV settings page > under CONSTRUCT CUSTOM DOLBY VISION DATA BLOCK, you can create a custom Dolby Vision data block here. All parameters can be adjusted according to your projector. Once finished, click Create to generate a set of DV data blocks, then click Send DV to apply.
  1. Copy and save this DV data block for your backup. If the DIVA loses power, the parameter settings in this section will revert to factory defaults. In this case, simply paste your saved DV data block back in and click Send DV again—no need to reconfigure the parameters from scratch.
  1. Go to the DV settings page > check CAPTURED INPUT DOLBY VISION METADATA [from source]. If non-zero numbers are displayed inside the box, the configuration is successful, and Dolby Vision is currently playing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum HDMI bandwidth and resolution supported by DIVA?
DIVA utilizes the HDMI 2.0b specification, supporting a maximum bandwidth of 18Gbps and resolutions up to 4K@60Hz.
Can DIVA be used with Sonos or Bose soundbars?
DIVA cannot natively output eARC audio signals. To use it with an eARC soundbar, you will need to pair it with an Arcana for eARC output, or consider purchasing the VRROOM instead.
What is the difference between TX0 and TX1?
  • TX0 is designed to connect to 4K displays and supports video upscaling, which can upscale FHD 1080p (2K) up to UHD 2160p (4K).
  • TX1 is designed to connect to 2K displays and supports video downscaling, which can downscale 4K HDR content to 2K SDR.
What is the difference between DIVA and Vertex2?
DIVA features two HDMI outputs: one dedicated to 4K and one to 2K (1080p), whereas Vertex2 can output 4K on both ports simultaneously. Additionally, DIVA supports HDR to SDR conversion (1080p) and ambient lighting features (Ambient), which are not available on Vertex2..
What is the difference between VRROOM, Vertex2, and DIVA?
  • eARC Support: VRROOM natively features a dedicated eARC output for soundbars, which Vertex2 and DIVA lack (requiring an additional Arcana).
  • Bandwidth & Resolution: VRROOM features two HDMI outputs supporting up to 4K120 (FRL5 / 40Gbps / 1200MHz), while Vertex2 and DIVA support up to 4K60 (18Gbps / 600MHz).
How do I troubleshoot intermittent power-cycling or random reboots during playback?
Please disable the IR feature on the DIVA.
Connect your device, open a web browser, and enter your DIVA's IP address to access the settings page.
Go to the CONFIG settings page > under DIVA SETUP: > find IR: > select OFF.
My media player is an OPPO. Can I view Dolby Vision using the DIVA?
Yes! When using an OPPO player, you can force settings to upscale and output DV & LLDV on any display ranging from 2K SDR to 4K HDR.
Does DIVA support eARC?
DIVA does not support native eARC audio format output, meaning it cannot be connected directly to a soundbar or receiver that requires an incoming eARC signal.
However, DIVA does support audio return from an eARC TV. Upon receiving the eARC audio signal, DIVA will convert it into a standard audio format readable by legacy sound systems, and then output it to your audio equipment via the dedicated AUDIO OUT port..
What should I do if my projector or TV screen is flickering, glitching, or showing a black screen?
First, lower the resolution setting to 1080p or 720p for a retest. If the display functions normally (the screen stops flickering), the issue is likely caused by the HDMI cable. Please replace the HDMI cable and try again.
