Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum HDMI bandwidth and resolution supported by VERTEX2?
VERTEX2 utilizes the HDMI 2.0b specification, supporting a maximum bandwidth of 18Gbps and resolutions up to 4K@60Hz.
Can VERTEX2 be used with Sonos or Bose soundbars?
VERTEX2 cannot natively output eARC audio signals. To use it with an eARC soundbar, you will need to pair it with an Arcana for eARC output, or consider purchasing the VRROOM instead.
What is the difference between DIVA and Vertex2?
DIVA features two HDMI outputs: one dedicated to 4K and one to 2K (1080p), whereas Vertex2 can output 4K on both ports simultaneously. Additionally, DIVA supports HDR to SDR conversion (1080p) and ambient lighting features (Ambient), which are not available on Vertex2..
What is the difference between VRROOM, Vertex2, and DIVA?
  • eARC Support: VRROOM natively features a dedicated eARC output for soundbars, which Vertex2 and DIVA lack (requiring an additional Arcana).
  • Bandwidth & Resolution: VRROOM features two HDMI outputs supporting up to 4K120 (FRL5 / 40Gbps / 1200MHz), while Vertex2 and DIVA support up to 4K60 (18Gbps / 600MHz).
How do I troubleshoot intermittent power-cycling or random reboots during playback?
Please disable the IR feature on the VERTEX2.
Connect your device, open a web browser, and enter your VERTEX2's IP address to access the settings page.
Go to the CONFIG settings page > under VERTEX2 SETUP: > find IR: > select OFF.
My media player is an OPPO. Can I view Dolby Vision using the VERTEX2?
Yes! When using an OPPO player, you can force settings to upscale and output DV & LLDV on any display ranging from 2K SDR to 4K HDR.
Does VERTEX2 support eARC?
VERTEX2 does not support native eARC audio format output, meaning it cannot be connected directly to a soundbar or receiver that requires an incoming eARC signal.
However, VERTEX2 does support audio return from an eARC TV. Upon receiving the eARC audio signal, VERTEX2 will convert it into a standard audio format readable by legacy sound systems, and then output it to your audio equipment via the dedicated AUDIO OUT port..
What should I do if my projector or TV screen is flickering, glitching, or showing a black screen?
First, lower the resolution setting to 1080p or 720p for a retest. If the display functions normally (the screen stops flickering), the issue is likely caused by the HDMI cable. Please replace the HDMI cable and try again.
